Public Comment Opportunity

Public comments were accepted on the following proposals through September 19, 2024.

*Due to the delay in publishing, a separate public comment period will be established for the Wolf Trapping Season Dates when they become available.* A public notice will be sent out when the dates are finalized.

*NEW*  An amendment to the 2025 Fishing Regulations is being proposed by Vice Chair Pat Tabor.  Please see the amendment at the bottom of the topics list below for review.  The public comment period for this amendment will start on October 10 and run through October 31.

Amendment proposed by Vice Chair Tabor

The following amendment to the 2025 Fishing Regulations is being proposed by Vice Chair Pat Tabor.  The public comment period for this amendment will begin on October 10 and run through October 31.

2025 Fishing Regulations - Amendments regarding Bull Trout

The following amendments to the 2025 Fishing Regulations are being proposed by FWP.  Vice Chair Pat Tabor has agreed to carry the amendments on behalf of FWP.  The public comment period for these amendments will begin on October 15 and run through October 31.

The commission may take action on all matters specifically noticed on any agenda.

Extensive opportunity is provided for public comment on hunting, fishing and trapping regulations. As a matter of equity for citizens who cannot attend commission meetings, when making final decisions on these regulations, the commission will not open public comment unless a significant amendment to the tentative proposal is brought forth by the commission or department. Comments will be limited to the amendment only.  Time for comment may be limited at the Chair's discretion.
