Meet the Coordinator
Darby Bramble
With a background in outdoor education and interpretation, Darby Bramble has worked as a Trails Specialist for the US Forest Service, an Interpretive Park Ranger for the National Park Service and Lead Teacher for the Pacific Science Center's “Science-on-Wheels” Program.
In Lolo, Montana she worked as Program Coordinator for Travelers' Rest Preservation and Heritage Association where she built a flourishing education program, oversaw the Lewis and Clark Bicentennial Commemoration in Montana and collaborated with local tribes in cultural programming and the “Winter Storytelling Series”.
More recently, Darby worked as a health educator for the Lewis and Clark County Health Department, contracted with FWP to design the “Kids Under the Big Sky” Junior Ranger Activity Guide, served as the Board Chair for Youth Connections Prevention Coalition, and she served as the first Executive Director of Helena Community Gardens.
The granddaughter of one of the original “points of light” award recipients and former AmeriCorps member, Darby has forged a deep connection to community, the outdoors, and public service. When she’s not working as the Montana State Parks AmeriCorps Program Specialist, she can be found in her garden growing food to share with the community, exploring the trails of Montana, or cheering for her three children on soccer fields across the state.
